Settings overview

Most of how camera.ui is configured lives under Settings, reached from the menu. Some settings are personal to your account; others are server-wide and need an admin.

Personal settings

Available to everyone signed in:

• Account. Your profile, password, two-factor authentication, and active sessions. See Security.
• Appearance. Theme, language, and interface options.
• Notifications. How and when this device alerts you. See Notifications.

Administrator settings

Available to admins:

• Users. Accounts and roles. See Users.
• Recordings. Recording and storage options. See Recording.
• Remote access. Reaching the server from outside. See Remote access.
• Backup. Back up and restore your setup. See Backup.
• System. Version, updates, and server actions. See System.

Admin tools

Beyond Settings, the menu has more admin tools:

• A dashboard with the server's status and resource use.
• Automations for connecting events to actions.
• Logs and a terminal for troubleshooting.
• Instances and workers for running several servers and sharing the load.
• A raw configuration editor for advanced changes.
